Also outstanding, the 2013 Viognier, which was aged half in barrel and half in stainless steel, offers textbook tangerine, buttered citrus and white peach in its medium-bodied, seamless and elegant profile. This beauty has both richness and freshness, and will drink nicely for 2-3 years.
As always, I had a great visit with winemaker Anthony Yount. The wines continue to go from strength to strength, and at this point, are a match for anything coming out of the west side of Paso Robles. These are high-quality wines that merit attention.
