The 1997 Chardonnay Reserve Estate (from a 3-acre vineyard planted with the Kistler clone) was put through full malolactic fermentation. It is a powerful, full-bodied (14.8% alcohol) wine with minerals, honeysuckle, buttery lemon/citrus, and ripe orange scents and flavors.
