Dehlinger produces a small amount of white wine. The 1997 Chardonnay Selection (400 cases) comes from a 3-acre vineyard planted with the Kistler Clone. It is put through full malolactic, and is aged in a higher percentage of new oak (50%). This offering displays a lemony, honeyed character, with less noticeable minerality than the Chardonnay Estate offering. There is more glycerin, fuller body, and a deep, concentrated mid-palate. It should drink well for 4-5 years.Release date 10/99.Tel. (707) 823-2378; Fax (707) 823-0918.
