The 2004 Crianza is 90% Tempranillo, the balance Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes were fermented with native yeasts and aged in barrel for 19 months. Deep crimson-colored, it reveals an attractive nose of cedar, mineral, earth, blackberry, and black currant. This leads to a forward, fruit-filled wine with good flavors and excellent depth. It has the structure to evolve for 2-3 years and will drink well through 2020.
