The very young and unoaked red 2014 Heus Negre is a blend of Cari?ena and Garnatxa Negra with 22% Merlot and 7% Syrah, ideal for tapas or light food. It comes through as quite international-styled, with some jammy aromas, wax and pollen notes intermixed with a leafy, herbal sensation. The palate is juicy with some consistency for the aforementioned tapas. 55,000 bottle produced.

The 2012 Heus Negre is a fresh and fruity blend of 36% Carinena, 35% Syrah, 22% Garnacha and 7% Merlot with aromas of ripe plums and black cherries and a dense, fruity and juicy palate with velvety tannins and a good finish. The 2011 Heus*Negre is a blend of 31% Syrah, 26% Garnacha, 24% Merlot and 19% Carinena from Mollet de Perelada, Espolla and Rabos that sees no oak. The nose is a little closed although the palate offers light, simple, crunchy red berry fruit that is clean and flavoursome.
