As for the 2007 Syrah Rock Hollow Vineyard, this wine played it close to the vest, much like the Crossroads Vineyard. Although is displays good black currant and blackberry fruit intermixed with tapenade, earth, and pepper, the finish is short and dominated by tannin, so there is a possibility for this wine to dry out if it is not drunk over the next 2-3 years.
