This is a rich, powerful Soave loaded with plenty of aromatic and fruit intensity to match its extroverted personality. There is no shortage of pedigree in this compelling, utterly delicious Soave. The 2009 Soave Vigne di Mezzane brings together ripe, juicy apricots, peaches, flowers, smoke and mint. It shows terrific up front juiciness, along with persistent notes of minerality that shape the attractive finish. The Vigne di Mezzane is a gorgeous white from Corte Sant’Alda. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014. This is a sublime set of wines from Corte Sant’Alda.
