The medium-bodied, richly fruity 2005 Lyricus Rosso Piceno is a blend of 60% Montepulciano and 40% Sangiovese. Its dark ruby color is followed by aromas of sweet and sour cherries and almond paste, medium body, and a Pinot Noir-like fresh, savory character. It requires consumption within a year.
