The estate's 2009 Marche Rosso Tellus is a blend of 60% Montepulciano and 40% Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine needs time in the glass to find its balance. Sweet red fruit, hard candy and sweet herbs are some of the notes that flow from this tasty, entry-level red. This is a relatively feminine style for the Marche, but it works.
