Made in limited production, the 2017 Ethos Reserve Late Harvest Riesling has a gold color at the core with a sticky rim and shows a soft honeyed essence on the nose along with peach preserves, dried apricots, baked apples, quince paste, candied lime and rosewater. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is unctuous in the mouth, with beautifully balanced residual sugar and energetic acidity that dances across the palate, offering flavors of golden raisins, apricot marmalade and apple peach compote. It displays a balanced structure that makes me hungry for high-quality blue cheese. The wine lingers on the palate with an elongated finish, somersaulting with enjoyment, offering pleasure at every turn. This is a beautiful late-harvest Riesling. Bravo!
