Aromatically revealing candied oranges, sweet white flowers, papaya, and nutmeg, this well made and gorgeously balanced wine has a honeyed, strawberry, and cayenne pepper-flavored personality. Over the years I've gleefully drunk a number of late harvest wines made by Mike Januik and have found them to always be delicious and ageworthy. This is no exception. Anticipated maturity: now-2009+.Of the 650,000 cases produced by Chateau Ste. Michelle, there are 600 of the 1995 Late Harvest Semillon.Chateau Ste. Michelle's wines are for the most part beautifully made, well-structured and well-defined.
