The 2011 Seguin continues a successful run for this emerging Pessac-Leognan property. A blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot from the area’s gravelly soils, it reveals sweet black cherry fruit intermixed with notions of cedarwood, loamy soil and underbrush. Medium-bodied with light tannins and an evolved, precocious style, it should be consumed over the next 5-6 years.
