The 2012 Partarrieu has a pleasant, well-defined bouquet of lemon curd and wild honey that indicates a healthy level of botrytis. The palate is well-balanced with a crisp orange peel-tinged entry. It is very linear and there seems to be a little botrytised fruit toward the finish, but it is crisp and refreshing, and it should be a pleasurable Sauternes after bottling.
