Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 Brillette offers notes of stewed red plums, raspberry coulis and cranberry sauce, with an undercurrent of sautéed herbs, tobacco and damp soil. The medium-bodied palate is herbal with chewy tannins and crisp acid, finishing rustic.

From gravely soils in Moulis, the 2019 Brillette hails from an estate that has recently been restructured, with Cabernet Sauvignon repositioned on the most appropriate terroirs. Exhibiting aromas of cassis, wild berries, loamy soil and pencil shavings, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and seamless, with lively acids and powdery tannins.
