Tart and not very generous, theis is not a good example of a Pommard. Flavors tend to the sour end of the Pinot Noir range with tomato and cranberry predominating. Has fairly sharp acidity and a short finish, too. Wine like this should be declassified and sold as Bourgogne Pinot Noir, at best.——W.E.(1/1/2004)—— 81
