Expressing classic Cabernet aromas, the 2016 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon bursts with tones of mocha, dark, dusty cherry and blueberry essence with soft floral and spice notes. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is broad with complexity, but it leaves me wanting more depth across the mid-palate. Lingering flavors of blackberry and spiced cherry appear on the long-lasting finish. Almost 10,000 cases were produced.

The 2014 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (100% varietal) is another solid wine from this estate that’s a good value. Spice, vanilla bean, violets and mulled plum and black raspberries all emerge from this lifted, elegant and perfumed Cabernet Sauvignon. It walks a thin line with regards to volatile acidity, but it's a charmer.

Possessing a touch of volatile acidity, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon (there’s a splash of Petit Verdot in the blend) is a medium to full-bodied, nicely balanced Cabernet that offers lifted notes of blue fruits, incense and spice. Drink it over the coming 6-7 years.

Darker and richer than the Tribute, yet a little more rustic and chunky, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon offers ample red currants, red plum, toasted spice and incense aromatics to go with a medium to full-bodied, savory, nicely concentrated style on the palate. It’s a solid, workhorse-style effort to drink over the coming 4-5 years.

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon has additional richness and concentration, with beautiful black currant, lead pencil shaving, smoke and charred-earth aromas and flavors. Made from 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Malbec, it’s a medium to full-bodied effort that has excellent purity, solid mid-palate depth and upward of a decade of longevity.
