Deep purple in color, it surrenders an excellent aromatic array of balsam wood, spice box, violets, mineral, blackberry, and black plum. Dense, ripe, and pleasure-bent, it is a surprisingly fresh offering that can be enjoyed now and over the next 6-8 years.
