The 2015 Vindel is a new, limited production Albari?o presented in a heavy Burgundy bottle closed with white wax. Produced with fruit from a plot that achieves high ripeness, it had a maceration at -4 to -8 degrees Celsius for two days to extract aromas. The wine fermented in a combination of stainless steel and 225-liter barriques, where it matured until bottling after being stabilized and filtered. As it usually happens, I found a rather light palate, but in this case, the nose had more complexity with some diesel-like, developed aromas. I think this should be consumed early. 2,000 bottles produced.
