The packaging is underwhelming, so much so that you worry that this is just another generic Shiraz from whereversville. But that’s not the case at all. The wine is sexy and smooth, with light minty aromas accenting solid berry fruit. The palate is clean and zesty, with dark-fruit flavors as well as black olive, cola and toast. Integrated and ready to drink. ——M.S.(11/15/2008)—— 90
