The 2010 Laderas de Inurrieta is pure Graciano, one of the local red grapes from the region, a variety that produces reds with lots of color, acidity and punch. The concentration and ripeness of the grapes (15% alcohol), seem to be able to counterbalance the 14 months in new oak, and the wine has less drying tannins than its sibling, the 2011 PV. It has some nice balsamic notes of thyme and rosemary, which provide for attractive aromatic and tasty flavors. One can only hope time will make the wood more integrated and the tannins resolved. Drink 2015-2018.
Inurrieta is a modern winery created about 10 years ago around 230 hectares of vineyards. There are modern, well-crafted wines.
