Deep and brooding, with raisin, tobacco and other dark, jammy notes on the bouquet. Conjuro is Bressia’s top wine, and it shows layering, texture and very good plum and berry flavors. The feel is flush and not totally soft, with integrated oak and medium, mature tannins. With blackberry and spice on the finish, it ends in a round of applause. Malbec, Cabernet and Merlot is the blend. ——M.S.(11/1/2008)—— 90
