The 2006 Pinot Noir Iris Block is sourced from a 5.5 acre parcel in the estate vineyard. Dark ruby-colored, it has an appealing bouquet of red cherry, raspberry, cedar, and spice box. This leads to an elegant, forward wine with intense flavors and incipient complexity. Drink it over the next six years. Bishop Creek maintains its offices and tasting room in Portland at Urban Wineworks East. The vineyard, located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, was originally planted in 1988, and currently has 14 acres in production with more to come.Tel. (503) 957-0351
