The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, continuing the mini-vertical presented by the winery, is vinified in much the same manner as the ’06 reported on this issue, although of the three (’06-’08) it wound up with the highest alcohol (13%, 14% and 13.5% respectively). It seems much along the lines of the ’06, a little fresher, a little sweeter (the oak perhaps more prominent), laid back and elegant, without much concentration, but with some charm and light tannins. There is a hint of intensity on the finish. This is drinking nicely now, and although it will continue to hold, I’d consider this at peak now. Drink now-2015.
