A blend of organic 90% Trebbiano Toscano, 5% Malvasia and 5% Ansonica, the Ampeleia 2019 Bianco di Ampeleia opens to an off-gold color absorbed from grape skins and a pretty bouquet with acacia honey, apricot and beeswax. The finish is dry and tart. The grapes are planted together in the same vineyard row and fermented as one with five extra days of maceration. This is an eager, pure wine that expresses naked and natural primary fruit. Production is 25,000 bottles.
