Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2017 Cabernet Franc Wetzel Family Estate has a classic nose of green bell pepper and blackcurrant bud, bright red and black cherries, cedar, underbrush and baker's chocolate hints. Medium to full-bodied, the palate offers crunchy red and black fruits and herbal flavors, with a firm frame of chalky tannins and bright acidity on the finish. 1,883 cases produced.

The 2016 Cabernet Franc Wetzel Family Estate is medium to deep garnet-purple in color and intensely scented of crushed red and black currants, pencil shavings and underbrush with suggestions of cinnamon stick and bay leaves. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with red and black fruits with a firm, chewy backbone and long, lively finish. 1,840 cases produced.

The finest red, the 2009 Cabernet Franc Estate (100% Cabernet Franc) displays abundant floral, blueberry and spice box notes, fresh, elegant, medium-bodied flavors and a style somewhere between a Loire Valley Cabernet Franc and one from Bordeaux.
