The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Cabo de Hornos from the Cachapoal Andes was aged in barrels and foudres. An intense garnet red in color. The attractive nose delivers blackcurrant and plum jam, black tea, and orange peel aromas against an oaky backdrop while the fruit is enhanced by the sun-kissed character. Indulgent in the mouth, it’s intense with pleasant juiciness, underlined by the finely grained, reactive tannins firmly channeling the flow. A potent wine made more so by the warm year.
