Last Tasted 3/92The 1977 Insignia, which has been fully mature for a number of years, exhibits an intensely fragrant, herb, mint, spice, and cassis-scented nose. In the mouth, it is all velvet and lushness, with gobs of fruit, silky tannins, and plenty of glycerin and alcohol in its lusty finish. Among all the Insignia releases, it is one of the most enjoyable for drinking over the next 4-5 years.
