Probably the best wine I have tasted from this estate in Fronsac, it is 100% Merlot from relatively modest yields, and the result is a deep ruby/purple-tinged wine with elegant floral and crushed rock notes interwoven with mulberry, raspberry and black cherry. It is medium-bodied, very stylish, and more of a finesse-styled Fronsac than one that impresses with its power. That said, the natural alcohol here is 14.8%, so this is no wimpish wine. Anticipated maturity: now-2025.
