The 2016 Marjosse Blanc, Pierre Lurton's home in Entre-Deux-Mers, is just OK inasmuch that I have drunk and enjoyed better vintages in the past such as the 2010 and 2012. This has a simple, clean and fresh bouquet but it does not offer the complexity I was expecting and the palate follows suit. It is decent enough but nothing special and you forget it too quickly. In many ways in reflects how 2016 never really favored the dry white Bordeaux. Drink it over the next couple of years.
