Deep garnet in color with a slight purple hue, the 2011 Shiraz presents aromas of warm black plums, crushed black currants and tar with a whiff of bacon. Medium-bodied, it has just enough black fruit and earthy flavors framed by a pleasant grip of tannins before finishing with moderate persistence. Drink it now through 2015.
