The compelling 2003 St.-Joseph Le Paradis St.-Pierre exhibits an inky/black/purple color followed by a glorious nose of candied licorice, creme de cassis, blackberries, flowers, and powdered mineral-like scents. Powerful, rich, full-bodied, and unctuous with good structure and definition, it requires 2-3 years of cellaring, and should drink well for 15+ years.
