The 1991 Unfiltered Reserva (70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, and 10% Graciano and Mazuelo) offers a dark garnet/ruby color, and a fragrant, persuasive nose of sweet, jammy, cherry, and currant fruit intermixed with scents of stones, herbs, and vanillin. The wine's wonderful texture reveals layers of fruit, low acidity, and a round, generous mouthfeel. There is not a hard edge to this wine, which was bottled unfiltered to preserve all of its character. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. This is one of Spain's most traditionally run wineries.
