Graillot's 1992 red wine cuvees are not as profound as his 1991s, 1990s or 1989s. They are soundly made, round, supple wines that will provide good near-term drinking. The 1992 Crozes-Hermitage La Guiraude possesses more toasty new oak, a black-cherry and herb-scented nose, rich fruit, a soft texture, low acidity, and light tannin in the finish. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
