The medium ruby-colored 2014 C?tes du Rh?ne Villages Terre D'Argile is a mix of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, with a tiny amount of Carignan, that has the Syrah and Mourvèdre aged in barrel, and the Grenache in larger oak tanks. It’s a pretty, elegant and medium-bodied red that has good acidity, fine tannin and perfumed notes of spice, dried earth, sweet strawberry and flowers. Drink it over the coming 3-5 years as well.
