The 2013 Pedesclaux has respectable fruit on the nose in context of the vintage: mulberry and bilberry, perhaps a little smudged after the 2012, but decent intensity. The palate has an easy-drinking swagger, the acidity nicely pitched against the blackberry and cedar notes, linear and foursquare towards the finish but with fine length. This is a good effort in such a tricky vintage. Tasted March 2016.
