The 2010 Pedesclaux is the same blend as the 2009 and the first vintage where the extension to the vineyards came into play, though six hectares that were making poor grapes were excluded from the final blend. It has a superior bouquet compared to the 2009 in terms of precision and delineation, quite "airy" and floral, almost Margaux-like in style. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, a little foursquare and more freshness here than the previous vintage with respectable tension on the finish that just lacks a little length in the context of the vintage. Drink this now and over the next 12-15 years. Tasted March 2016.
