Tuscany's 1993 vintage has turned out to be better than expected. Although the vintage is not comparable to 1985 or 1990, it produced some good, solid wines. This 1993 Chianti Classico reveals a typical Chianti nose of cedar, saddle leather, and bing cherry fruit. Medium-bodied, with good spice, it is a wine to drink over the next 3-4 years.
