The 2001 Zinfandel Estate (15.6% alcohol) offers a dense plum/ruby/purple color in addition to full-bodied, chewy, viscous flavors, great palate presence, and a tremendous concentration of briery, black cherry, raspberry, and currant fruit intermixed with earth, pepper, and licorice.
