I am not totally convinced by the 1993 Cabernet Sauvignon. The color is a healthy, dark saturated plum, and the wine offers up weedy, dill pickle, toasty new oak, smoky aromas, along with ripe blackcurrant fruit. In the mouth, there is good thickness, intensity, and depth, as well as a spicy, rich finish. If the weediness ages into a cedary component, this wine could merit 2-3 more points. In any event, it should last for 10-15 years.Tel. (805) 239-0190
