The 1999 Meursault, a blend from Narvaux, Tillets, and Chevalieres, was aged in 40% new oak ( in 350-liter barrels) and 60% first-year, traditional Burgundian barrels. It has a rich, white fruit, and mineral-scented nose that leads to a medium-bodied, deep, and pure character. It is harmonious, fresh, rich, and elegant. This wine should be at its best if consumed over the next 5 years.
