A new discovery, this robust, earthy, spicy, fruity blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Tempranillo emerges from a little known viticultural area not far from one of Spain's hottest vineyard regions - Priorato. Aged 15 months in used American oak casks, the wine exhibits a saturated black/plum color, sweet, chewy fruit, full body, obvious glycerin, and a rich, nicely-textured, plump finish. This is a mouth-filling, silky smooth, robust Spanish red to drink over the next 3-4 years. It merits buying by the case. This wine is a special cuvee for the USA market.
