My first look at a 2008 Rose, the Terrasses (a blend of 50% Cinsault, 40% Grenache, and 10% Syrah) is a beauty. Crisp, elegant, and ripe with loads of freshness as well as strawberry and framboise notes intertwined with a hint of flowers, and a touch of tannin, this is a serious, dry, slightly austere, personality-filled rose to enjoy over the next 6 months.
One of the Cotes du Ventoux’s top estates, Chateau Pesquie has released a number of top-notch, value-priced wines into the American market.
