Tasted at the Comte Liger-Belair vertical at the Chateau de Vosne. The 2010 Echézeaux Grand Cru is much more closed and broody on the nose compared to the 2009 with hints of tinned apricot tincturing the black cherry and pomegranate fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, fine harmony and tension, gently building to a poised, lightly spiced, almost Richebourg-like finish. This has long-term potential. Tasted June 2015.
