Matured a year in older oak, the 2018 Mother's Milk Shiraz blends fruit from Kalimna, Seppeltsfield and the Eden Valley. Mulberry and black olive notes dominate this supple, easy-drinking wine. It's medium to full-bodied, with plenty of charm; it just fades a bit quickly on the finish.

Rich and juicy in flavor, with maraschino cherry, red licorice and fresh raspberry puree notes up front, plus matcha, dried lavender, star anise and fresh tobacco hints that linger. Despite the generosity of flavor, there's a light airiness in texture, with supple silkiness coming from polished tannins.
