Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Mother’s Milk Shiraz offers notes of warm red cherries, black raspberries and mulberries with an undercurrent of Chinese five spice and anise. Full bodied with plenty of mouth-filling berry and spice flavors on the palate, it has a medium level of velvety tannins, lively acid and a long finish. Drink it now to 2019.
