2016 was a cooler year in Gredos, and the 2016 Pegaso Granito shows the austere character of the granite soils like no vintage before. The color is a bright ruby, and the nose is a symphony of flowers, wild herbs and a twist of cold granite. The palate is equally expressive and elegant, with super fine tannins and an austere sensation that I like very much. This is the best vintage of Pegaso they have ever produced. Bravo!! 3,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in the spring of 2018.
