Latour only used indigenous yeasts when crafting his excellent Meursault Narvaux (cultured yeasts were employed for all his other wines). It exhibits a rich, expansive and mineral-laced nose followed by a well-focused, ripe, medium-bodied, and velvety textured core of minerals, nuts, pears, and oak spices. Projected maturity: 1999-2004.
The score, noted on a range and in parentheses, indicates that the wine was tasted from barrel.
