This wine is an exceptional value. The medium to dark ruby/purple-colored 1999 Fleurie Chateau des Deduits displays black cherry and blackberry aromas. This medium-bodied, broad, harmonious, and intense wine is plump and forward. Its luscious, dark fruit-flavored core does not appear to have the balance or structure for cellaring, and therefore this opulent wine should be drunk over the next 2-3 years.
